Chaberton Estate Winery and Bacchus Bistro is on of the oldest estate wineries in BC and largest estate winery in the Fraser Valley. Located in South Langley, amongst the rolling hills and farms, we enjoy a micro climate that is perfect for growing 'cool climate' white wine grapes, similar to those found in Northern France and Germany. The Bacchus grape, which is also our signature wine, was originally from there but now grows beautifully in our 55 acre Langley vineyard. Some of the vines found in the vineyard are almost 30 years old! From our Fraser Valley vineyard we produce 5 "Vancouver 100 Mile diet" wines: Bacchus, Dry Bacchus, Siegerrebe and Siegerrebe Dessert wine. All proudly grown and produced locally here at the vineyard and winery. Joining these wines are specially selected white and red wine grapes grown in the Okanagan Valley. These all make up our full wine compliment of 22 wines! Whites, Reds and Rose - we have them all and all proudly 100% BC.
Winery tours and tastings are offered daily from our on-site Wine Shop. Open 7 days a week, tours are @ 2pm and 4pm (February through November) December and January @ 3pm only (weather permitting).
Looking for a fabulous location for a special lunch or dinner? Then look no further. Our Zagat rated "Excellent" Bacchus Bistro enjoys a tranquil and relaxing setting. The dining room and seasonal patio look out over the vineyard and are reminiscent of a French Bistro. Offered from a table d'hote and daily a la carte menus is a selection of French cuisine, prepared with local ingredients and a "West Coast" flair. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling: 604.530.9694.
