This cold windy snowy winter weather hit just as I thought winter had forgotten us! Isn't it nice to be remembered by mother nature:) Okay so lets look at what is to come. Celestine is a 2019 introduction hybridized by yours truly. We love it for its clear shocking pink colour, superb compact plant habit, healthy foliage and that bloom. Perfect tight buds open to very double almost English like rose flowers. And just so you don't have to ask me if it's fragrant, yes it has some:) I would say it has a light almost raspberry fragrance. Online rose catalogues would call it HIGHLY fragrant LOL. We will have a limited supply so you might want to pop in the first weekend which starts March 16. Sorry we can't put any on hold. The flower has thick heavy petal substance and takes to rain or sunshine well. She is shockingly beautiful

Hello Garden friends! Time to start teasing you with some new rose photos of what's coming in:) Pictured here is a new super healthy fragrant climbing rose from Kordes. LOVE its bloom and wonderful fragrance. I also love its name " Kiss me Kate". We will have a good supply of them, sorry we can't put roses on hold:) Opening day this year will be Saturday March 16 10 am. Keep a watch on fb for updates or feel free to join our e news updates. We should have our first E news out later Feb. to join just jump to selectroses.ca and sign up on our front page. We will be bringing in about 5000 roses including loads of our own new hybrids and the best we can find from the worlds great rose breeders.

Jedi my new standard poodle puppy is 12 weeks old. Today we had loads of fun games and obedience lessons with his breeder Deborah from Violet's Standard Poodles. My boys is so fun amazing quick learner but I think a little tired out today lol. I learned more than he did !! Thanks for being so dedicated to your poodles Deborah. #selectroses #poodle #dog
