About Us
Petplayland is proudly owned and
operated by Lisa Eagleton. Lisa lives in the Murrayville area and has
been providing quality pet care services such as Dog Walking, Puppy Visits, Pet
Sitting and House Sitting in the Langley/South Surrey areas for the past 10
years.
Lisa started her business after gaining
experience working with various breeds of dogs including fostering for local
rescue organizations and working at boarding kennels and dog daycare facilities,
while at the same time testing the waters with a few private walking and
daycare clients.
Lisa has attended numerous seminars
on Dog Behavior and Training, including Dog Aggression: Biting and
Fighting; Training Adult Dogs; Puppy Classes and Games with Dr. Ian Dunbar; Dog
to Dog and Dog to Human aggression indepth seminar with Cheryl Smith. Lisa
is also trained in Pet First Aid and Clicker Training and undertakes continuing
education in her chosen profession.
In celebration of Petplaylands
10th Anniversary Lisa is pleased to offer a 10% discount to her full
time clients on one hour walks, and a 5% discount to her Part time clients (3
days per week). (Some conditions apply.)
Lisa has two dogs of her own....both
Miniature Schnauzers.....Megan and Carly. Both dogs are or were involved in
dog showing and Lisa was instrumental in preparing them for the show ring by
providing them with proper puppy socialization, lead training and body
conditioning through proper exercise. She keeps them happy, active and healthy with long walks, jogging and
agility activities. Lisa adores her
“girls” and says they are a tenacious
breed who have lots of love to give and who like to throw in occasional challenges
to keep her on her toes. Lisa willingly
and lovingly accepts the daily challenges they give her!!
Lisa’s client base ranges from
professional people who love their dogs but can't always be there to meet their
needs, to Seniors who adore their companions and need a little extra help
keeping them fit, healthy & happy. Clients who need their home and
pets cared for while on vacation or away for business is also a large and
sought after part of her business.
Lisa’s hobbies include fitness
classes, jogging and boot camp. She is a
certified fitness instructor and teaches fitness classes in her spare time. You
can check out her fitness classes Mon/Wed/Fri am at the Newlands Golf Club.
Being cared for by an athletic and health conscious individual ensures
that your pets get the exercise & structured day needed to keep them well
balanced at home.
