Food is okay, but expensive, service is slow as well. my first visit was an okay experience but my second one was awful. I arrived around 1:15 pm, the woman behind the counter sat me at the counter. She later informed me that they were out of burgers, who runs out of food. Very disappointing. I traveled over an hour to try the hilltop burger, only to have them run out of food, you would think that a restaurant brags about they high quality of their burgers would actually have food to serve to their customers, makes me wonder how they stay in business. For anyone thinking about making a trip to the hilltop diner you may want to rethink their decision and go to Veras burgers, they are better and they don’t run out of food.
